I totally agree, simple living doesn't require a special asset of pricey resources or time but it's often portrayed like that online, a bit like minimalism, I still adopt that mindset in certain areas of my life but you wouldn't define "minimalist" my style looking around my apartment. The days I work from home I love to take my coffee break near the kitchen window because it allows me to see the birds in the building garden busy with their morning errands. Last Winter I was lucky enough to spot a robin (which are rare here nowadays) :)
“… and that’s how I enjoy adding slow moments to my day. Nothing fancy, just simple little moments that help me to feel more mindful, joyful, thankful, present, intentional, and grounded”.
This is absolutely what slow living really is. I 100% agree that it’s not just for the privileged few, it’s for everyone. Finding pockets of time through the day to pause, practice mindfulness, have a nice cup of tea whilst reading a book or listening to birds etc
In absolute agreement with you Clementine. Slow living is accessible to all and it's about the little choices and actions we make daily that add up to a slow life. I'm working on a piece at present about all the little things I practice (and a few big ones), which I'll share soon.
A cup of tea is a great anchor in the day. I love making a herbal tea picked fresh from the garden. Lemon balm is abundant at the moment, delicious and qualms many ails. I love to make a big pot whenever a friend pops by 🌿
Watching wood pigeons - they are such funny birds! A lovely post.
They are! I love watching them. 😅❤️ Thank you so much. 😊 xxx
Such an inspiring read, Clementine! Nature & gardens are essential to our wellbeing! Your writing & images are so soothing! 🍂Maria

My favourite way to slow is to read every day.
❤️❤️❤️
