In my Moments in Nature series, you’re warmly invited to pause and wander - beyond the kitchen window, and through the garden gate - into a quiet world of seasonal beauty.
It’s a monthly offering of seasonal stillness; a collection of photographs and quiet reflections that celebrate the ever-changing beauty of the natural world.
It’s an invitation to slow down, to notice the way the light shifts, the flowers bloom, as each season leaves its trace in small, beautiful ways.
Step outside with me, and rediscover the wonder tucked into the everyday.
Hello June! Wishing you all a gentle and happy start to the month…
The roses are officially in bloom in the garden!
If I had to pick a favourite month, I think May has a very strong chance of wining! The garden is full of life (buzzing, you might say!). It's been such a joy to watch a family of blue tits fluttering playfully through the garden, and hopping among the roses. A starling family enjoys their daily baths, and the sparrows are always such fun to watch. It really does feel magical.
Even though May has passed, I’m definitely filled with excitement for all the beauty June will bring… much longer days, lots more beautiful blooms, and even more magical moments that nature’s wonders are sure to offer.

For this month’s Moments in Nature, I wanted to share a few photos I’ve taken recently of what’s blooming in the garden. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
If you’d love to see even more beautiful blooms, I’d love to connect with you over on Instagram. You’ll find the link just a little further down.
Just in case you missed my last Moments in Nature post, you can find it here, along with a recording of birdsong.

Is it just me, or do those little flower buds in the photo above look just like tiny stars!
