Inside My World: A Personal Welcome to My Readers
Get to know me better with a peek into my journey, passions, and small business.
My Journal of Soulful Reflections is an authentic, cosy and soulful extension of my small business, Clementine Rose. You can expect to uncover more personal entries infused with inspiration and encouragement underpinned by the beauty of the natural world, and the ebb and flow of the changing seasons. You’ll also discover gentle reflections on slow and seasonal living.
I invite you to come alongside me in my monthly journal entries, where we can collectively take a few moments to pause, reflect, and unwind.
Let’s journey together and go on a seasonal adventure, nurturing and nourishing our souls as we discover slow moments of peace and joy, the wonders of nature, and the magic in our everyday lives.
A huge welcome to my Journal of Soulful Reflections. As I’ve had a few new wonderful subscribers here on my Substack, I thought it would be a good time to reintroduce myself so you can get to know me better. I’m so happy and thankful that you’re here.
I’m Clementine, but you can call me Clem! I’m a Lincolnshire girl born and bred, but I now live in the beautiful Cathedral City of Lichfield with my husband (you can find his beautiful Substack, Rediscover · Reconnect · Re-Emerge, here.)
I’m a huge book lover! Among my favourite authors are C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Louisa May Alcott, L.M. Montgomery, and J.K. Rowling. I’m very fond of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books, and I love making magical journeys to Hogwarts. (Plus I really like cheesy romance novels!) I also love going for long walks, discovering new places, and capturing moments through photography, and I really enjoy music, painting, picnics, and birdwatching!
As you’ve probably already guessed, I’m very passionate about nature, and living more slowly and seasonally! I believe that there is so much that we can learn from nature, not just for within our daily lives, but also within our work (which I’ll talk a little bit more about shortly). Being amongst nature uplifts me, and brings me so much joy in a simple, yet transformational way. It also sparks creativity, and is a much welcome escape from screen noise, and the daily hustle and bustle of life.
My journey toward slow living began in 2017 following my diagnosis with Crohn’s Disease. I became much more conscious of my health and well-being, and discovered how stress, anxiety, and busyness were all having a serious negative impact on both my mind and body. So, I decided to slow down and embrace a more mindful way of living to help my body heal. You can read more about my slow living journey here.
So now for a little bit about what it is that I do…
I’m a digital marketing specialist, and drawing inspiration from the wonders of nature, and from the ebb and flow of the changing seasons, I’ll help you to discover a more simpler, slower and mindful approach to digital marketing.
Just like in nature, every season offers a chance to sow, cultivate, care for, gather, and rejuvenate. Effective digital marketing sows a seed which has the potential to reap a bountiful harvest.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked and collaborated with many different brands, companies, authors and publishers such as Oaks Jewellery, Udi’s, Propercorn, Harper Collins, Fat Face, House of Fraser, JD Williams, Gaston Luga, Simply Be, The Good Book Company, Lighthouse Clothing and more…. which I have loved so much, and has really helped me in my journey of starting and running my own business.
My offerings include:
🌿Sowing the Seeds: Digital Marketing Review & Strategy
🌿 Growing & Flourishing: Social Media Review & Strategy
🌿 Tend & Nurture: Coffee & Chat
🌿 Branching Out: Bespoke Offering
I also have a 61-page digital marketing workbook called Reflect & Recharge, where you’ll discover lots of nature-inspired and seasonal reflections, tips, advice, and easy-to-implement actionable steps to help you nurture your down-to-earth approach to digital marketing.
Would You Like to Know What I've Launched?
The natural world weaves itself through every nook and cranny of my small business. The wisdom that nature offers is what originally inspired the roots of Clementine Rose back in 2022, and is what encouraged me to relaunch my business this year.
Here’s a little bit about who I work with:
Small Business Owners:
Being a small business owner myself, I fully understand the overwhelming feeling of creating effective digital marketing. Yet, I also recognise it’s vital for small business owners. If you desire a more mindful, straightforward, and unhurried approach to digital marketing, you’ve landed in the right place.
Individuals:
You may not class yourself as a small business owner, but perhaps you’ve just released an exciting new project, or maybe you’re wondering how you can effectively share your blog with the rest of the world. With my down-to-earth approach to digital marketing, I can support you in ensuring your work reaches its intended audience.
Kindred Spirits:
If you are a kindred spirit, who shares my values and ethos, aspiring to grow, nurture and develop your small business in harmony with the ebb and flow of the natural world, I’m here to help you do just that. I’ll assist you in your digital marketing needs, and we’ll journey together to begin sowing the seeds of growth.
Along with small business owners, I’ve also worked with artists, musicians, and creatives.
Here’s a few fun facts about me:
I love salted caramel ice cream!
If you were to ask me what my favourite food is I would have to say pizza.
I love Hallmark films!
I studied Audio Production at Lincoln University, and graduated in 2017.
The Chuckle Brothers once sung ‘Oh My Darling Clementine’ to me!
I got my first job at 14 as a waitress.
I’m definitely a cat person!
I’ve played the drums since I was 15, and have been in a few different bands over the years. I’ve also done some session playing, and have gigged around the country.
I’d love to know… how does being amongst nature make you feel? Let me know in the comments! Feel free to share a fun fact about yourself too.
Until next time…
