Although I probably say this for every season… this is definitely my favourite time of year! June is such a wonderful month. Nature is full of life, and is blooming and flourishing all around us.
For this month’s Moments in Nature, I thought I’d share some of the beautiful flowers that we have in our garden, and some of the little moments that I’ve captured. (You’ll also find a sweet little visitor who has made it their home.)
At the bottom of our garden we have a small table and some chairs, and it’s one of my most favourite places to sit, work, and relax. I love watching the birds and other wildlife from this spot, especially in the evening when the bats fly over. The squirrels are also a very regular visitor!
These beautiful white Bobby James rambling roses have put on a spectacular show this year in the garden! ( If you head on over to my Instagram page you can find them in one of my latest reels.)
Another beautiful rose that has filled part of our garden. I love the vibrant and delicately soft pink petals on these ones. They have such a beautiful fragrance.
A busy little bee collecting nectar.
A sparrow popping its head out of the flowers, and probably wondering what I’m doing!
You’ve no idea how long I’ve been wanting to capture this exact photo! Thankfully I managed to get a few. I also had just enough time to make a quick dash up the stairs to grab my zoom lens! … also a lovely little reminder of how thankful the wildlife are for food and water during this warm weather.
I’d love to know what’s been visiting your garden recently? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time…
